'The Fiddler' (1975) 20m, dir. Marshall Riggan. This amazing film showcases an elderly East Texas fiddle maker and his wife. After his hand-crafted fiddle is finished, we discover that he's an amazing country fiddler, too. This 'lost' film was produced by Riggan for a religious organization. Later, under new management, the organization apparently decided that the film was more profane than sacred, and discarded or destroyed all remaining prints. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 4 reviews )
